Spiderman is driver's ideal superhero rescuer
Thu, 28 Aug 2014MORE DRIVERS in the UK say they would want Spiderman to save them in the event of a breakdown than any other superhero. The web-shooting superhero was chosen by 24% of drivers as they reckon he’d be more able to fix their car or get them to safety. Superman was a close second (22%) in the survey by IGW, with drivers commenting the crime fighter from Krypton would be able to lift their car to a garage to be fixed.
Hyundai Intrado revealed before Geneva
Tue, 25 Feb 2014The Hyundai Intrado crossover debuts next week at the Geneva motor show, but the company revealed some pictures and information about the car on Monday. The Intrado is the first concept produced under the direction of Peter Schreyer, who became Hyundai president and chief design officer last January. Hyundai says the Intrado demonstrates the company's belief that advanced vehicle technologies and intelligent design can combine to engage with drivers and passengers.
Toyota leaves F1
Wed, 04 Nov 2009Toyota are quitting F1 It’s not exactly a huge surprise, but Toyota has announced today that they are leaving Formula One and will not be back in 2010 to take their place. With the announcement that Bridgestone are also quitting F1 after 2010, and the departure of Honda before the 2009 season started, there is going to be no Japanese involvement in F1. Which is rather sad for a nation that loves its cars.
