Kia GT and Provo look to be heading in to production
Tue, 12 Mar 2013The recent Kia Provo Concept and the impressive Kia GT look like they’re heading in to production as Kia move upmarket. Equally, the stunning Kia GT concept we saw at 2 years ago at Frankfurt - a swoopy coupe Kia take on the Mercedes CLS – was equally convincing, although we’d begun to think Kia had gone cold on the idea of putting the Kia GT in to production. But Auto Express are reporting that both the Provo (with a change of name ) and the GT are close to being signed off for production after a conversation with Benny Oeyen, Kia’s marketing boss in Europe.

That feeling was more than affirmed a couple of weeks ago when Aston Martin released a few official pictures of the Cygnet and gave us some production targets – 2000 a year in Europe. But only sold to existing AM customers.
Ex-Ford engineer charged with stealing trade secrets
Fri, 16 Oct 2009A former Ford Motor Co. engineer has been charged with stealing trade secrets from the automaker after accepting a job in China in 2006. Xiang Dong Yu, 47, was arrested Wednesday at O'Hare International Airport in Chicago after traveling to the United States from China.
