This is the infamous "Formula Cart", pun intended. This pit cart cators to the SCCA open wheel Formula race car crowd (FF,FC, FA, F500, FS, etc) but can be used for others as well. I used this when I ran a Formula Ford. The wings are a conversation piece but are also very functional as they are tilt adjustable and ideal for holding notebooks and laptops for recording data and also holding tools. The interior dimensions of the storage area are 47" long by 23" wide by 17" high. The high quality plywood construction has mitered joints and is all polyeurthaned for a rugged and long life construction. Tires are pneumatic and the wagon has a steering system with a wagon handle. Can also be towed. Includes two holders for fire extinguishers and hooks for storage of typical formula lift jacks and handles. No shipping.  Local pick up only.  If you require shipping all arrangements would have to be made by the buyer and I will assist at no cost at this end except any fees I incur on your behalf would have to be covered.  If you have any questions or are serious and need more pics., please email me or call 860-741-0049.

EU ban on petrol and diesel cars from city centres by 2050

Mon, 28 Mar 2011

Say goodbye to the Black Cab & London bus under EU plans In yet another case of ‘Why do we elect idiots to govern us?’, the EU is calling for a complete ban on all petrol and diesel powered cars from city centres by 2050. Why not by next year? The ‘Brussels Ban’ lays out a timescale for other ‘worthy’ objectives along the way.
