This listing is for the New Snell SA2015 M-4 Bell Racing Equipment Helmet. This helmet is Matte Black and Size XL (62) This full face helmet features, certifications and rating of, SFI 24.1, Snell SA2010 and D.O.T. This helmet also features openings in the scalp and sides of the chin bar to allow air in and escape through the top exhaust ports for driver comfort. The interior of the helmet features a plush fire retardant Nomex padding and a removable washable liner as well as a padded chin strap designed for racer comfort and proper fit. The distortion free face shield is constructed with a high grade, low fog polycarbonate with an excellent extend peripheral field of vision. This is a New item and has not been used. It is from our overstock inventory that we purchased. I stand behind what I list. I offer a one year warranty from the date of purchase with proof of purchase. Returns are also accepted. Fri, 28 Mar 2014The David Brown Automotive Speedback is certainly one of the more intriguing coachbuilt cars we've seen recently -- all the more so because it's a product of Britain, not the carrozzeria hub of Italy. We just got our first glimpse of the Speedback yesterday, and thanks to this XCar video, we can dive a bit deeper into the car's origins and its many design details (unfortunately, there's no on-road footage yet). The Speedback, in the words of DBA founder David Brown, seeks to combine the “classic simplicity of the '60s underpinned by a modern platform with all of the functionality you'd expect from a modern car.” And it does so successfully, from what we can tell so far.
Toyota ends powertrain deal with Tesla
Wed, 14 May 2014To the surprise of no one, Toyota has announced the end of a partnership with Tesla that gave rise to the slow-selling RAV4 EV, which will be replaced by a fuel cell car next year. Toyota has said that it can't meet California's zero-emission vehicle (ZEV) mandate profitably with electric cars, but it thinks it can make money, or at least not lose so much of it, with fuel cells. Toyota signed a $100 million joint development deal in 2011 with Tesla, to build powertrains for its RAV4 EV.
Car workers 'top for excercise'
Mon, 09 Jun 2014CAR WORKERS and mechanics are the most physically active staff, taking regular exercise more than three times a week, according to a new study. Employees in leisure and tourism were ranked second. A survey of 2,000 workers by the British Heart Foundation (BHF) to mark its cycling campaign, found that mechanics did some form of physical exercise more than four times a week.
