The Lamborghini SUV has been confirmed by an Audi manager Rumours of a Lamborghini SUV Concept at the Beijing Motor Show have been confirmed by a senior Audi Manager. We reported a few days ago that Quattroruote, an Italian car magazine, were claiming that the much rumoured Lamborghini SUV Concept would debut at the Beijing Motor Show in April. We did comment that the report seemed like the rumour mill gone mad, but the fact that Lamborghini were calling the report ‘Speculation’ lead us to conclude the story was probably true.

Jaguar Land Rover to build cars in China

Jaguar Land Rover has revealed it is going to build cars in China, starting with either the Freelander 2 or Evoque. Jaguar Land Rover has revealed that it going to build cars outside the UK for the first time (as opposed to re-assembling Freelander 2 CKD kits as it does in India) in a plant just north of Shanghai. As this is China, official permission from the Chinese government is required, but with the joint venture between Chery and JLR now official its seems unlikely to be a problem as JLR will already have agreed to Chery producing JLR cars with Chery badges on.

Jaguar ads 'too focussed on speed'

ADVERTS for Jaguar have been banned for focusing on the cars' speed and encouraging dangerous driving. The four video ads on Jaguar's website showed a car driving at speed through a tunnel and crossing over the single white lines in the middle of a road, before driving across a mountain road at night. Another scene showed a car driving on open land at high speed, while voice-overs said: "The adaptive dynamics technology reacts 20 times faster than the human eye.
