Bendix Ps5c Pressure Carburetor, Pn 25242990-1, Cessna L19 on 2040-parts.com
Milford, New Jersey, United States
For Sale I am offering a Bendix PS5C Pressure Carburetor, PN 25242990-1, Cessna L19. It came with part of an L19 inventory and from what I was told, was for the L19 Birddog. The tag says it was overhauled at ARAMAC, the Army Aeronautical Depot Maintenance Center in Corpus Cristi, Texas which, in the 1940s, was where Navy Aviators were trained to fly Seaplanes and carrier based aircraft. There is not an overhaul date that I can see, nor has this Bendix PS5C carb been tested, but looks to be in great shape. We offer a generous money back for any returns for any reason. In that the buyer can't do anything more than view a photo and ask a few questions, it's only right to offer that policy. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions or make us aware of any item we may have identified incorrectly. In 1922, Ivan Gates organized The Gates Flying Circus. It was considered the grand daddy of all flying air shows. Made up of mostly WWI ex-military flyers, it captivated crowds with daredevil flight performances, wing walking and parachuting demonstrations. My Grandfather began his aviation career barnstorming in a $250 war surplus Jenny and then later flying for the Gates Flying Circus. Orville Wright signed his license, license number 1000. My father came along at a time my grandfather was buying surplus PT19s and Stearmans for a few hundred dollars. My father continued the passion for flying and owned dozens of aircraft over the years. My brother flew for Cole Palen's Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome. In his last few days, my father's eyes twinkled when I brought some flying magazines to his bed side. In honor of my dad, I'm continuing our aviation heritage. Airworthiness of items sold by this seller to be determined by Buyer and/or Buyer's Faa Approved Mechanic / Buyer's Faa Certified Repair Station. |

Aston Martin eyes Lagonda comeback
Tue, 15 Oct 2013The last time we saw an Aston Martin Lagonda on the street, it looked like its sharp angles could deflect not only police radar and laser, but give pedestrians a paper cut if they weren't careful. And the last time we saw a Lagonda concept -- at the 2009 Geneva motor show -- it looked like, well, like what you see above. We're still not sure what we see above, and leading scientists aren't sure, either.
Volvo Concept Estate photos
Wed, 26 Feb 2014Last week, Volvo's Geneva Motor Show concept was teased on a Swedish raincoat company's website. This week, we've got official photos of the Concept Estate, a wagonesque vehicle set to be shown at a show that's all about the supercar. We'll see the new Ferrari California T there.
Citroën C4 Picasso
Tue, 02 Apr 2013The all-new Citroën C4 Picasso will come as no surprise to anyone who saw the Thechnospace concept at last month's Geneva motor show as it's essentially identical, bar some color and trim details. This five-seat, C-segment MPV/minivan is shorter than the car it replaces by 40mm at 4,430mm, meaning it's closer to the old Xsara Picasso in size. It is a little wider than the old C4 at 1,830mm and its wheelbase spans an extra 55mm at 2,785mm, which Citroën says means it boast more interior and luggage space than before.
