UP FOR BID IS A WALTHAM 8 HOUR MILITARY CLOCK THE CLOCK WORKS FINE AND CAN BE ADJUSTED WITH THE LARGE KNOB ON THE FRONT. I BELIEVE IT IS A WALTHAM CLOCK AS IT IS THE ONLY CLOCK OF THIS KIND THAT I CAN SEE MORE THAN 2 ARMS THIS CLOCK I HAVE FOR SALE HAS 4 ARMS 2 WHITE, AND 2 RED ALONG WITH A SECOND HAND. THIS CLOCK IS IN VERY GOOD WORKING CONDITION AS I HAVE HAD IT RUNNING AT MY HOME FOR OVER A WEEK AND IT KEEPS GREAT TIME. I CAN NOT READ THE BACK AS IT HAS GLUE FROM BEING GLUED INTO AN AIRCRAFT, AS I WAS TOLD BY THE OWNER THIS CLOCK CAME FROM AN AIRCRAFT. I BELIEVE I CAN SEE FEB. 1974 ON THE BACK OF THE CLOCK ALONG WITH A FEW NUMBERS BUT I DON'T WANT TO SOAK IT TO GET THE GLUE OFF AS IT RUNS GREAT. ALSO THERE IS DIRT AROUND THE OUTSIDE OF THE CRYSTAL AND I CHOSE TO LEAVE THAT ALONE ALSO AS I DON'T WANT TO BREAK THE CLOCK IN ANY WAY BUT THE CRYSTAL IS FINE WITH NO BREAKS OR CRACKS. THE CLOCK IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION EXCEPT FOR THE DRIED GLUE ON THE BACK WHICH IN NO WAY EFFECTS THE WAY THE CLOCK RUNS AND KEEP IN MIND I COMPARED ALOT OF CLOCKS AND WALTHAM SEEMS TO BE THE CLOSEST TO THIS TYPE OF WATCH AS YOU CAN NOT READ ANY MAKERS MARKS ON THE WATCH ANYWHERE. IF SOMEONE KNOWS THE MAKE PLEASE FEEL FREE TO EMAIL ME WITH IT. THANKS AND GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR BIDDING!!!

Bentley Continental Supersports Convertible likely

Thu, 01 Oct 2009

It looks like Bentley are planning a convertible version of the Supersports Bentley introduced the Continental Supersports back at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year. A stripped-out (it only has two seats), flex-fuel powerhouse of a Continental, it is the quickest car in Bentley’s stable. But the focus at Bentley – certainly for the viewing public – has been all about the new Mulsanne.

Mercedes S65 AMG (2013) first official pictures

Fri, 08 Nov 2013

By Ollie Kew First Official Pictures 08 November 2013 08:01 Bring on the ‘too much is never enough’ comments: this is the new Mercedes S65 AMG – the top dog of the S-class range. Set to be more than twice as expensive as an entry-level S350 BlueTec, which starts at £62k, the S65 AMG borrows its powerplant from the SL65 AMG, and comes close to embarrassing the SLS supercar in a drag race. Whereas the new S63 makes do with a piffling 5.5-litre biturbo V8 developing 577bhp, the S65 squeezes in a twin-blown V12 good for 621bhp – that’s only one horse fewer than the Mercedes SLS Black Series manages.

How South America designed the Ford Ka

Thu, 31 Jul 2014

The Ka Concept was shown at the São Paulo auto show in Brazil in November 2013, and was revealed in production form last week. It marks the first time the Ka has reflected the broader brand homogeneity of the 'One Ford' design strategy, and continues the Ka's shift in direction from the distinctive original. The new car is the work of Ford's South American design studio in Camaçari, Brazil - its second 'One Ford' car, following the EcoSport. But while the crossover enters a new segment, the 17-year history of the Ka nameplate in Brazil gives an insight into how the demands of the local market have taken precedence over design iconicity.
