The memory of the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2014 may now have faded, but for Olympic gold medallist Nicola Adams, the experience of the event is one she’ll be sure never to forget. That’s because Hyundai brand ambassador Adams was strapped into the passenger seat of the firm’s i20 WRC world rally car alongside factory rally driver Thierry Neuville for a white-knuckle ride around Goodwood’s famous forest rally stage. Who's Where: High-profile re-organization at General Motors

General Motors' design division has been re-organized in a spate of high-profile restructuring that comes into effect on 1 August. In Europe, David Lyon replaces Mark Adams as Vice President of Design for Opel/Vauxhall in Rüsselsheim while Adams moves Stateside to become Executive Director, Global Cadillac and Buick Design. Ken Parkinson, currently Director North American Exterior Design/Global Architecture Strategy and Chevrolet Brand Champion will become Executive Director, Global Chevrolet and GMC Design.

Honda CR-Z Mugen - almost ready for Goodwood We got news a couple of months ago that Honda were getting Mugen to do a tuning job on the CR-Z Hybrid and put together a ‘Concept’ for this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed. But it seemed clear that although Honda were keen to point out that the Honda CR-Z Mugen would be a one-off, it was unlikely to stay that way. Honda are desperate to inject a bit 0f aggression in to the lethargic CR-Z, and a nippy Mugen version would help its image no end.
