Ensure your electrical charging system is running strong in your truck with the digital precision of a superior auto and truck voltmeter gauge.

This voltmeter display gauge gives you the ability to monitor the electrical status of your truck, RV, tractor or mobile home and get problems fixed before these problems can cause damage to your auto. Modern commercial design, choice of black or chrome bevels to match your interior and a sharp blue or red digital LED display add to the face of your auto's dash. Precision, accuracy and quality workmanship are inherent in this Teltek USA digital voltmeter sensor.

The automotive digital voltmeter senor gauge measures voltage a spread from 8.0 to 18.0 volts. The reliable accuracy of the gauge pinpoints voltages to 0.1 volts. The large LED digital display is bright enough to be read during the bright of day, and then the display dims in the evenings for night driving.

The truck, tractor or car's charging system requires a capable alternator to provide electric current which is shown in the automotive digital voltmeter display. This is how to use a voltmeter. If there’s a current deficit, the truck battery will provide the current needed until the battery goes dead. The voltmeter gauge will display the level of current in the electrical system. Therefore, if there is an electrical problem, the precision voltmeter will show a drop in volts.

For most trucks, the voltmeter should read between 14 and 14.5 volts when the truck engine is running. This tells you the truck’s electrical system is running at a healthy level. If the display of the voltage gauge drops below 12.5, your truck is probably running of battery power and you should find a truck mechanic as soon as possible. The voltmeter may drop below 14 when the electrical system is working fine if the electrical system is being over taxed by the truck’s other systems. This could happen if the windshield wipers, lights, heater, defrost system, radio are all working while the truck is sitting in idle. No worries though, hit your truck accelerator and the digital precision volt meter display will jump back up to normal levels.

Another potential problem occurs when your automotive voltmeter display displays a reading above 15 volts. This indicates the electrical system is overcharging due to a problem with the voltage regulator. Taking the truck to a mechanic will help prevent damage to electrical system.

In addition to a digital volt meter, an ammeter display also gives clues regarding the health of your truck’s electrics. A metaphor for the relationship between the voltmeter gauge and the ammeter gauge would be comparing rate of water running to the amount of water running through a pipe. Both auto truck gauges can help you take good care of your truck, car, RV mobile home or tractor.

Porsche supercars

Tue, 29 Jul 2008

By Tim Pollard 29 July 2008 18:00 For a company that specialises in more accessible sports cars, Porsche has grade A provenance in the supercar sector. The original '70s 911 Turbo was a prescient car, proving that Zuffenhausen had the expertise to mix it with the big boys from Modena. And so it proved, as the 911 gave way to 959 and from there to the latter-day Carrera GT.
