China’s Geely to enter the UK car market in 2012

China's Geely is to enter the UK car market in 2012 Chinese car maker Geely is to start selling cars in the UK in 2012, with Manganese Bronze (London Black Cabs) handling distribution. We reported recently that the Geely Emgrand EC7 and the MG6 – both made in China – has achieved a four star rating in the latest round of Euro NCAP safety test. Mazda prices 2012 Mazda 5 from $19,990

Mazda will sell its six-passenger 2012 Mazda5 van for a base price of $19,990, including shipping, when it goes on sale in January. The 2012 Mazda5, which Mazda calls a multi-activity vehicle, saw its North American debut at the Los Angeles auto show earlier this month. Mazda increased the base price by $730 compared to the 2010 Mazda5.

Honda has released the very first image of the all-new redesigned TL, which will be sold under the company's luxury nameplate. Though only a single front quarter image has been made available, the profile of the new Acura TL is distinctively coupe-like, displaying an overall athletic stance. Apart from the familiar brushed aluminum Acura grille and single surface front bumper, new styling cues include sharp edged bodyside character surfaces anchoring down the design at the shoulder and the rocker panel, and the shoulder character lines' edge looping the front wheelarch surface and running down to the headlamp all the way to the front fascia.
