Iconic Ford Mondeo Super Touring racing car on sale

Thu, 09 Jan 2014

As far as the Ford Mondeo is concerned, few cars can be more evocative than the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) race cars from the late 1990s. For legions of racing fans, the Mondeo was part of the golden era of BTCC - a time when factory-backed “Super Touring” cars did battle on the race tracks of Great Britain. Rolls-Royce Ghost V-Specification gets 593 bhp

Wed, 08 Jan 2014

Rolls-Royce Ghost V-Specification (pictured) gets 593 bhp The Rolls Royce Ghost has been around for some time, and we’re expecting a reveal as early as the Geneva Motor Show in March. But ahead of a facelift for the Ghost we’re getting another limited edition Ghost to bolster sales – the Rolls-Royce Ghost V-Specification. The Ghost V-Specification is effectively the Ghost with the powerplant from the new Rolls Royce Wraith (itself the ‘Ghost Coupe’) which means power jumps from 563bhp in the standard Gost to 596bhp in the V-Spec.

Fioravanti Thalia concept

Fri, 23 Feb 2007

Fioravanti will be represented at the Geneva Motor Show by this, the Thalia, named after one of the three Graces of Greek mythology. The rear hump means a staggered silhouette, reflecting the rear seating which has been elevated to accommodate 'the most recent alternative energy technology.' Along with its unusual architecture, the sketch also shows a unique graphic break, with the dominant sweep and rear-biased mass reminding a little of the Mazda Senku concept. It will be interesting to see the model in Geneva.
