THIS OUTBOARD IS VERY UGLY BUT EVERYTHING ELSE LOOKS GOOD - SHOWING USE AND AGE AND NEGLECT

PROP TURNS - ENGINE TILTS UP - ENGINE PIVOTS SIDE TO SIDE - FROM WHAT I CAN TELL EVERYTHING SEEMS TO MOVE PROPERLY

SOME PARTS HAVE BEEN REMOVED BUT I HAVE THE PARTS AND THEY APPEAR TO BE IN GOOD CONDITION

LOOKS TO BE A GREAT MOTOR TO RESTORE

THE ENGINE COVER IS THE UGLIEST PART BUT IT IS SOLID AND STRAIGHT AND COMPLETE - STRIPPING AND REPAINT WOULD CHANGE ITS ENTIRE IMAGE

Nissan recalls trucks, SUVs to fix ignition relay

Nissan is recalling about 760,000 trucks in the United States and Canada to fix a faulty ignition relay. The recall covers the Nissan Titan and Frontier pickups and the Nissan Pathfinder, Xterra, Armada and Infiniti QX56 SUVs. The North American recall is part of a larger, global recall of 2.14 million vehicles by Nissan to fix the bad relay.

SEMA ups scholarship money for car-crazed college kids

The Specialty Equipment Market Association, better known to most of us as SEMA, has announced a hefty boost to its SEMA Memorial Scholarship Fund for 2013: The top student selected now gets $1,000 more for a total of $5,000 toward an automotive-related college education. Other eligible participants in four-year programs get $3,000—last year, they only received $2,000—and two-year students get their funds doubled to $2,000. In the Buckeye State, one lucky student at the Ohio Technical College will get complete tuition coverage, which is a cool $29,400.

BMW has today unveiled the new 6-series convertible. Weirdly, Munich has chosen not to show the new Six at the 2010 LA auto show, where it merely showed the 6-series concept car. BMW has chosen to launch the 6-series production car as a convertible first.
