Hi. This is a vintage Alpine equalizer for sale. I am listing this under parts/repair only because I have no way to test it. It is in great shape with a few marks as you can see from the pictures with all the wires and side brackets. Controls are smooth and firm. Because I cannot test it, I am selling this as is. McLaren's Stephenson honored by Art Center
Mon, 18 Oct 2010McLaren Automotive design director Frank Stephenson was honored this weekend at the 80th anniversary of the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, Calif. Stephenson is a 1986 graduate of the school, and he received the Creative Spirit Award along with three other alumni. The MP4-12C was also on display at the festivities.

The first wave of the Haynes Mechanix scheme has seen a mixed gender youth club group, aged 15-25 and from Islington in London, use Haynes manuals along with guidance from experienced mentors to fix real problems on a real car. The donor Volkswagen, known as Percy the Polo, was a theoretical MOT fail and needed replacement spark plugs, a brake fluid replacement and much more, to give the aspiring tinkerers a broad spectrum of challenges.
Companies work with racing technology to improve child safety seats
Fri, 27 May 2011The same technology that saved IndyCar driver Simona De Silvestro from serious injury in a recent crash at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway might soon be helping protect children in car seats. Dorel Juvenile Group, a car-seat manufacturer, is partnering with racing-product developers at Bald Spot Sports to use cockpit material that insulates racers from crashes in child-safety technology. Dorel makes child-safety items under brand names such as Safety 1st and Cosco.
