Hello, This is a VINTAGE 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s

                          ORIGINAL BLUE

                  STEERING WHEEL KNOB

             SUICIDE / NECKER / SPINNER .

EXCELLENT Used Condition, for it's age.

I Don't know how Old this Suicide knob is, or if used at all.

If it was ever used, it was well taken care of.

Very Slight Movement, up & down, Less than 1/8" play

There is NO Movememnt from side to side.

This may be Normal for this knob.

This knob SPINS FREELY as it should.

There are no markings on the Knob or Mount Plate.

Looks like the ones Morton & Casco Produced.

Chrome Mount is Very Shiney with NO Rust at all.

There's few marks as expected from Age, Use, & Storage.

Not Bad at all for the age. NICE ORIGINAL PATINA.

Color: ROYAL BLUE & METAL TRIM.

There's No Nicks or Scratches on the Knob that I can see.

Looks Pretty Cool.

Mount & Knob have a Nice, RIBBED DESIGN.

Area Below Knob & in the Ribs is BLACK.

Looks like: Art Decco Style. VERY COOL.

Material: I think it's made of Bakelite. Might be a Plastic.

Chrome looks Very Nice, No Large Pits. Does have a few very tiny ones that are hard to see unless looked at closely. Might be from the Original Mfg. Process & the Older Style Chrome & use.

Bottom of Mount has a Rough Cast Finish.

The Screws are Not Original but will work Fine.

You can replace them with Tappered head screws easily.

The slight marks or scratches may not show once mounted.

The Blue & Chrome areas are still Very Shiney.

Knob Measures: 1 7/8" across & 3" tall.

As you can see, Chrome & Knob still Shines Very Well.

Top of knob has 2 Trim Straps. Looks like Stainless.

I tried to show Condition in All the Pictures.

Nice Vintage Patina.

This knob looks better than the pictures in my hand.

Knob is still Very Smooth. No Chips or Cracks.

Rotates Nicely & Smoothly as it should.

Seems to be a Very Solid knob. Has a Good weight to it.

Feels good in the hand.

Original Mounting Bracket attached.

Mounting screw Turns Freely.

This Suicide knob still has a Nice Vintage Patina on it.

You might use it as is, or Restore for a Show Vehicle.

Nice Piece to Add to your Auto Memorabilia Collection.

This is a Very Useable piece to use on any Daily Driver, Cruiser, or Period Resto Project.

This was an ADD-ON Type of ACCESSORY  to make steering easier using one hand.

Very helpful when Parking your Vehicle.

Maybe your just out for a Cruise & have your arm wrapped around your Girl.

These type of Steering knobs were also Called:

Necker Knobs, Brodie Knobs, or Spinners.

Suicide Knobs were a VERY POPULAR ADD-On Accessory, during the 40's, 50's, 60's, & still sort after today.

There were many Variations available at the time.

2014 Lexus RC Coupe revealed

Mon, 04 Nov 2013

The new Lexus RC Coupe (pictured) debuts at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show It was back in July that the new Lexus RC Coupe was confirmed for a debut at this year’s Tokyo Motor show and now, with Tokyo just a few weeks away, Lexus has revealed the RC Coupe. The RC Coupe gets an evolution of the Lexus design language – more akin to its recent concept models than production cars – with a heavily contoured shape and the big Lexus spindle grill and lights that look like they’ve taken their inspiration from the LF-LC Concept. There’s also a choice of 18″ and optional 19″ alloys, with the 18″ looking butch and the 19″ elegant.
