Vintage- universal three section antenna and mount-  These were purchased at a Parts store yard sale- They are new in package, although package does show the signs of their age, the antennas are still sealed and perfectly fine. The mast is triple chrome plated.  Mounting information is included on the back of the packaging as shown in pictures. MINI Countryman WRC - MINI are going rallying again Back when Adam was a lad (as was I, coincidentally) Mini were big in rallying. In fact they wiped the floor with just about everyone else in the ’60s, winning the Monte Carlo Rally three times in the decade. And now BMW are planning a proper foray back in to WRC with a MINI Countryman WRC prepared in conjunction with Prodrive and featuring a 1.6 litre turbo from BMW Motorsport and AWD.

Aston Martin and AMG working on new V8 engines The collaboration deal between Aston Martin and AMG has moved to another level with the announcement that the two companies are working on a new V8 engine for Aston Martin. Aston Martin and AMG signed a letter of intent in July to kick off their technical partnership, and the news the companies are working together on a new V8 engine – which will probably first be seen in a new V8 Vantage – is the first fruits of the deal. A statement from AML and AMG said they are planning to expand their agreement to work on sharing electronic components and will “investigate additional areas of operation”.

Rumor mill: Porsche 928 successor on the way?

Porsche is reportedly planning a spiritual successor to the front-engine, rear-drive 928 coupe, according to U.K. magazine Autocar. The new grand tourer, which could wear the 929 nameplate, will be based on a shortened version of the Porsche Panamera platform and will be offered in both coupe and convertible body styles.
