The Bensen B-8 is a small, single-seat Gyrocopter
developed in the United States in the 1950s. original
manufacturer stopped production in 1987,that aircraft, the B-8 was initially built as an unpowered rotor-kite. It first flew in this form in 1955, and on 6 December a powered version, designated BensenB-8M
(M for motorised) first flew. The design proved to be extremely popular
and long-lasting, with thousands sold over the next

Chrysler is crushing 93 pre-production Dodge Vipers
Thu, 06 Mar 2014Chrysler has ordered 93 first-generation Dodge Vipers to be crushed, including what is believed to be the fourth Viper ever made. A Chrysler representative sent a letter to South Puget Sound Community College, which currently owns the Viper with VIN# 4, informing them that they must crush the car within two weeks. Automakers regularly donate unsellable non-street legal vehicles to automotive-engineering programs at colleges and universities, reserving the right to order the vehicles destroyed for insurance purposes.
Mini brand to get turbo three-cylinder engine
Mon, 30 Sep 2013BMW confirmed the Mini brand will also get BMW's new, turbo three-cylinder engine in upcoming models to be named later as part of a new family of engines for both brands that also includes an all-new four-cylinder. The company won't say which future models get the new three-cylinder other than the already announced BMW i8 plug-in hybrid. It arrives in the spring of 2014.
