 THIS IS WHERE YOU MAKE THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL LESS SENSITIVE SO THE CAR DOES NOT ACCELERATE QUICKLY IN RETURN IT SAVES YOU FUEL. THERE ARE 7 LEVELS OF ECONOMY EC1-EC7, EC1 BEING THE LEAST ECONOMICAL AND EC7 BEING THE MOST ECONOMICAL. 
  
2. NORMAL MODE: THIS DE-ACTIVATES THE THROTTLE CONTROLLER AND LETS THE CAR RUN ON FACTORY SETTINGS. 
  
3. LOCK MODE: THIS IS WHERE YOU CAN LOCK THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL AND EVEN IF SOMEONE HAD YOUR KEYS THEY COULD NOT DRIVE AWAY WITH THE CAR, VERY IMPORTANT FEATURE ESPECIALLY WITH THE WAY CAR THIEVES ARE OPERATING THESE DAYS AS THEY ARE BREAKING IN TO HOUSES AND SEARCHING FOR KEYS WHILST YOU ARE IN BED FAST ASLEEP. 
  
4. SPORTS MODE
THIS IS WHERE THE CAR COMES TO LIFE, SP1-SP11. SP1 BEING THE LEAST RESPONSIVE AND SP11 BEING THE MOST RESPONSIVE. 

    
WITH A TOUCH OF A BUTTON THE CAR CAN TURN INTO AN ECONOMICAL FAMILY CRUISER AND THEN A VERY AGGRESSIVE SPORTS CAR. 

THIS PRODUCT WORKS WELL ON ALL CARS AND THERE IS A HUGE DIFFERENCE WHEN ON ECONOMY OR SPORTS MODE REGARDLESS WHAT BHP THE CAR IS FROM FACTORY OR THE ENGINE SIZE.

INSTALLATION? 
    
VERY SIMPLE INSTALLATION PROCEEDURE, STEP BY STEP 
  
1. UNPLUG THE LOOM THAT PLUGS IN TO THE BACK OF THE THROTTLE / ACCELERATOR PEDAL. 
  
2. THE LOOM THAT IS PROVIDED SPRECIFICALLY FOR YOUR VEHICLE WILL THEN PLUG DIRECTLY INTO THE PEDAL AND THE OTHER END OF THE LOOM INTO THE PLUG THAT WAS ORIGINALLY FITTED TO THE THROTTLE / ACCELERATOR PEDAL. 
  
3. THE OTHER END OF THE SAME LOOM PLUGS INTO A CONTROL BOX. 
  
4. THE CONTROL BOX THEN HAS A LOOM COMING FROM IT THAT HAS AN OBD PLUG ON THE END, THIS THEN PLUGS INTO THE OBD DIAGNOSTICS PORT ON YOUR CAR. 
  
5. THE DIGITAL SCREEN HAS A PLUG THAT ALSO PLUGS INTO THE CONTROL BOX. 
  
6. HIDE ALL WIRES AND CABLE TIE THE CONTROL BOX SOMEWHERE UNDER THE PLASTIC PANELS THAT ARE LOCATED UNDER THE STEERING COLUMN.

Elemental RP1 track-focused sports car revealed

The Elemental RP1 revealed ahead of Goodwood FoS At the beginning of the month we ran a tease from a new start-up car maker teasing their track-focused sports car – the Elemental RP1 – and now, ahead of its debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this week, Elemental have done the full reveal of the RP1. Due to be ready to sell by this time next year, Elemental bravely proclaim the RP1 as previewing a new generation of world class British sports cars, and the spec does at least offer more than a hollow promise, fingers crossed and lots of hype. Based on a lightweight carbon and aluminium tub wrapped in body panels to fully enclose the underpinnings, has double wishbone suspension with inboard Eibach springs and Nitron dampers, 4-pot Caparo calipers and 17″ alloys.

Alfa Romeo is coming back to the U.S. this summer, and at next month's New York auto show the company will present the 4C Coupe to the American public. We need to take a step back to point out that even though the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione was officially sold on our shores in a handful of locations (to a smattering of well-heeled buyers), the automaker's planned return this summer will offer cars for--ahem--a slightly larger audience.
