Items Description
Stainless Steel Braided
Teflon Hose Brake Lines
Stainless steel brake
lines improve pedal feel and reduce the amount of time between
applied pedal pressure and actual deceleration by preventing
expansion, which stock rubber lines allow. This provides a
quicker pedal response, and allows the driver to maintain
consistent brake pressure and precision. These lines consist of
a Teflon inner line that is covered with a layer of stainless
steel woven braid.
The Teflon tube is very resistant to expansion under pressure
and will not degrade from exposure to brake fluid. The stainless
steel braid provides support for the Teflon and the weave is
extremely durable against incidental impact and abrasion.

This is the Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake. It's the production version of the Shooting Break Concept first shown at the 2010 Beijing auto show. An estate version of the CLS four-door coupe, Merc is hoping to repeat the trick it pulled off when it established the 'coupaloon' market with the original CLS in 2004.
The 2013 Chevrolet Corvette 427 convertible doesn't need any hype--the 505-hp V8, a 0-to-60-mph time of 3.8 seconds and a top speed in excess of 190 mph make a strong statement. Nonetheless, Chevrolet has enlisted the help of Corvette Racing driver Tommy Milner in a trio of 90-second videos to tout the 427 convertible. In our favorite, Milner talks about the car's aerodynamics, including the optional carbon-fiber splitter, that help keep the car glued to the ground for better control.
Following in the footsteps of Local Motors, Factory Five is set to launch an open-sourced design contest to design its next car. Up until now, the Massachusetts-based company is famed for its Type '65 Shelby Cobra Coupe replicas and its GTM racecar. Teaming up with Grassroots Motorsports Magazine, Factory Five is now launching the design contest to design the bodywork for its latest project: a Subaru Impreza-engined, rear-wheel-drive two-seater that is expected to sell for under $9,000 in kit form, or $15,000 as a complete car.
