Italdesign Giugiaro Parcour Concept: Geneva Motor Show

Tue, 05 Mar 2013

ItalDesign Giugiaro – owned by Volkswagen – has created a compact SUV crossover – the Italdesign Giugiaro Parcour Concept – based on Lamborghini underpinnings. The Giugiaro Parcour – named after the odd French habit of bouncing off buildings – has been developed as both a coupe and a roadster (you can see both in the pictures above) and uses the potent 542bhp 5.2 litre V10 from the Lamborghini Gallardo as well as a Lambo 4WD system to create what ItalDesign say is a blend of crossover, SUV, sports car and GT. MINI – George Harrison Homage

Fri, 15 May 2009

And these two sixties icons came together in 1966 when the Beatles manager, Brian Epstein, presented each of the Fab Four with a Mini Cooper S – as a thank-you for making him a wealthy man! With the big MINI United Festival looming ( May 22nd-24th at Silverstone ) MINI has re-created one of those original Minis to be auctioned in aid of charity.
