FOR CUSTOM TORSION HOUSINGS This kit uses a 3/4 heim joint to allow your trailing arm to freely pivot up and down. We offer these spring plate conversion kits for both a stock VW style torsion housing or "custom" torsion housing. A stock VW style torsion housing is wider than a custom torsion housing and requires a bend in the plate leading back to the trailing arm so the plate will line up correctly with the trailing arm. Hardware and heim joints are not included with this set. Two 3/4-16 bolts that are 2 inches long are required to mount the heim joints on to the torsion plates. Ten 1/2-20 bolts that are 1 1/4 inches long are required to mount the spring plate to the trailing arm. Eight 3/8-24 bolts that are 2 1/4 inches long are required to mount the torsion cover plate to the torsion housing. Lotus Group CEO Dany Bahar suspended, facing investigation
Tue, 29 May 2012Lotus Group chief executive officer Dany Bahar has been suspended and is facing an investigation following an undisclosed conduct complaint. While there is no official word on the nature of the complaint against Bahar, the The Daily Telegraph reports that it might be related to expenses claimed by Bahar or a legal dispute surrounding renovations on one of two Norwich, England, rental homes paid for by Lotus. Bahar's suspension has heightened the uncertainty surrounding the future of the Lotus Group.

Chevrolet to dealers: Let Cruze shoppers test-drive competitors
Tue, 31 Aug 2010Chevrolet is asking its 3,000 dealers to prepare for the late September launch of the Chevrolet Cruze compact by purchasing competitors' vehicles for test-drive comparisons. Chevrolet is encouraging dealers to have a Toyota Corolla and Honda Civic on site so prospective 2011 Cruze buyers can immediately measure the car against its segment competitors, said Margaret Brooks, Chevrolet small-car marketing director. At a media event Tuesday in suburban Detroit, Brooks said Chevrolet expects buyers to come away with a favorable view of the Cruze.
