10 Series Profile Adjustable Weights

All of our machined weights are adjustable to about 2-3 grams heavier on the tip with adjustment kit (440-90901) and come heat treated and Black Oxide coated to prevent wear and corrosion. We offer 3 different profiles of weights that all maintain the same curve profile as the Polaris 10 series style weights.

  • 1. Hammerhead (heavy tip) weights provide the most aggressive shift. They work great on big torque twin cylinder engines.
  • 2. Tapered Tip weights are the same profile as the Hammerhead weights but they feature a medium tip for a slightly less aggressive up-shift and better back-shift.
  • 3. Taper Tip 2 weights, which have a similar profile as the Tapered Tip weights but feature the lightest tip available for the least aggressive up-shift and the best back-shift.
  • Bushings and Set Screws sold separately.
  • Fit Polaris p-85, Arctic Cat, and Comet clutches.

New Skoda Octavia Scout price and spec – costs from £25,315

Mon, 14 Jul 2014

New Skoda Octavia Scout costs from £25,315 The new Skoda Octavia Scout arrived at the Geneva Motor Show in the Spring, bringing an ‘Allroad’ version of the latest Skoda Octavia Combi (Estate) to the market. As with all estate cars with offroad pretensions, the Octavia Scout comes with a more butch set of bumpers and a more purposeful nose, black cladding for the door sills and wheel arches, a new set of alloys, a raised ride height and a few tweaks for the interior so it all looks more than capable of taking on a muddy boot sale car park. The Scout comes with a choice of two 2.0 litre TDI engines at launch, with a lower powered, 148bhp with a six-speed manual and a more powerful, 182bhp version, getting a six-speed DSG gearbox, both of which return official economy of 55.4mpg (although, oddly, the lower-powered gets emissions of 129g/km and the more powerful 134g/km).

Young drivers at risk from poor tyre care

Wed, 06 Nov 2013

YOUNG DRIVERS are putting their lives at risk by not looking after their cars’ tyres. A survey by Tyresafe and insurer Ingenie has found that more than a third of young drivers aged 18-25-years old had never checked their tyres for tread depth and a quarter had not checked the tyres on their car for correct pressure ever. The survey found that better education is needed to tell young drivers of the important of looking after the tyres on their car.

Red Bull do doughnuts on the Burj Al Arab Helipad to celebrate F1 title (video)

Fri, 01 Nov 2013

David Coulthard gives the thumbs up whilst doing doughnuts Sebastian Vettel may be cool, collected and composed behind the wheel of his Red Bull F1, but even an in-control German needs to let off steam when he’s just taken his fourth F1 drivers title in a row. So at last week’s Indian Grand Prix, Seb celebrated his title win by producing a series of doughnuts in his car on the finish line, much to the annoyance of FIA officials who fined him €25k for his celebrations. But the latest doughnuts by an F1 team won’t have the FIA up in arms (probably) even if the stunt Red Bull have pulled to mark their latest achievements will give anyone who’s afraid of heights the heebie-jeebies.
