  • SLP pipes offer increased efficiency, more torque and horsepower with a wider powerband
  • SLP’s new ERA 2014 Silencing Technology features silencing designs combined with some exotic materials and manufacturing techniques, which together offer low sound level at a much lighter weight
  • SLP’s ERA 2007 Silencing Technology features advanced silencing technology while still providing great weight savings and a rich, full sound
  • Models equipped with this latest technology still sound like a snowmobile should, but the level of sound output is lower than previously experienced with our ERA 2000 products
  • Famous for superb fit and finish for easy installation
  • Check the description of each pipe to find the one right for you and your machine
  • For the highest level of performance, contact Starting Line Products for their recommended tuning and clutching parts
  • Finish codes: C (ceramic-coated), B (black hi-temp paint)
  • NOTE: All carbureted models require clutching and jetting changes. EFI models require clutching changes and, in some cases, a fuel control module.

A new batch of Ford Mustang Cobra Jets is on the way to racers

    Wed, 17 Jun 2009

The 40th Anniversary 2008 Mustang Cobra Jet, announced about a year ago, has been such a huge success for Ford Racing that the company will build a 2010 model, available later this year. Like the '08 CJ, just 50 examples of the turnkey race car will be built, the minimum number to homologate the car for competition in National Hot Rod Association events. An '08 Cobra Jet won its inaugural event in the Stock Eliminator Class in February at the NHRA Winternationals in Pomona, Calif., just as the original 1968 Cobra Jet did.

JAG CELEBRATES SUCCESS AND A BIRTHDAY

    Thu, 10 Oct 2013

BARONS' RECENT annual 'Jaguar Heritage Sale' celebrated all models of the much-loved marque but the E-type, in its 50th anniversary year really stole the show. The car had bidders and vendors purring with pleasure and nine of these stunning cars were on offer and all of them sold. Of the four examples offered, not one sold for less than £31,000 and the chart topper – a magnificent, bright red 1972 machine achieved over £39,000.

Russian Grand Prix: Hamilton on pole for Mercedes

    Sat, 11 Oct 2014

Hamilton (r) has pole in Russia followed by Rosberg (l) and Bottas (c) Amid tight security thanks to Russia’s ongoing spat in Ukraine, and a muted appetite for exuberance after Jules Bianchi’s dreadful crash with a JCB on track last weekend, the rest of the F1 circus seems to be on normal duty, with Hamilton’s Mercedes taking the front row and Hamilton dominating proceedings in qualifying to secure another pole position. But it wasn’t necessarily going all Mercedes’ way, with Bottas stringing together a very quick lap in the dying moments of final qualifying that looked like it could propel him in front of the Mercedes duo, until he lost traction at the end of his flying lap and had to settle for third spot in tomorrow’s race. Joining Bottas on row two is Jenson Button and his McLaren after a strong qualifying, and Daniil Kvyat – at his first home Grand Prix – managed to secure a very impressive fifth spot for Toro Rosso. Kevin Magnussen in the second McLaren would have been on row three in sixth spot but gets a five place penalty for a gearbox change.
