BIG BOAT SNATCH BLOCK

SHEAVE DIAMETER: 4 ¼"
MAX LINE SIZE: ¾"
OVERALL LENGTH: Aprx. 11"

They just don't make 'em like this no more.  In its day, this was one beautiful piece of hardware.  Though it's seen a lot of blue-water miles, it still looks pretty darn good and is fully functional.  It can be (and has recently been) completely disassembled for cleaning and lubrication.  The 4+ inch titanium sheave turns smoothly on 17 stainless steel roller bearings.  The snap-shackle, fitted to a heavy trunion, enables a fair alignment of your sheet from any attachment point.  Heavy rubber cheeks cushion impact.

This will be a bargain if you can use a block of this size.

Gleagle GC7

Mon, 19 Mar 2012

The GC7's upward-curved headlamps run out of the corners of the large center grille, while the side of the car has a strong feature line that runs down the whole body, serving to visually extend the car in side profile. The rear is again wholy conventional but appears neatly resolved.
