Most kits are all made of one type of vinyl. Some are thin and in-expensive while others are thick & costly and difficult to install. We have come up with a great solution to this problem... Our kits are designed with the best value in mind. In order to have a vinyl stick to rough plastic you need it to be very sticky and aggressive, but on the smooth areas if it is really sticky you have no choice to install it wet or you will have trouble lining it up correctly. Sticky thick vinyl is expensive & harder to work with. So we make our kits from both. We use a 5-7 year wrap vinyl on the smooth areas that can go on dry without air bubbles & can be pulled up and moved until you got it in place correctly, and then we us the grip vinyl for them tough areas. Then everything is laminated to protect against fading, washing or scratching. All kits come with gloss laminate but you can request flat (no gloss). Not only have we come up with a great solution for both cost and ease of installation, but everything is designed, printed, and laminated in house. This gives you the benefit of being able to customize your wrap any way you want it. We offer free color changes, please contact us prior to purchasing if you want to take advantage of this. Design changes can also be done for a added fee which varies depending on the degree of changes needed. A CAR reader’s festival ride in the Jaguar XKR 75
Tue, 06 Jul 2010CAR reader Archie Robertson, from Hertfordshire, won a money-can’t-buy prize at the 2010 Goodwood Festival of Speed thanks to CAR Magazine and Jaguar: an XFR super saloon for the weekend and VIP tickets to Goodwood including an unforgettable ride up the hill. Archie and his wife Judy spent Friday at the Festival of Speed with Jaguar hospitality thrown in. But the highlight of the day was a ride in the new Jaguar XKR 75, sitting alongside Jaguar’s chief chassis guru and driving legend Mike Cross, as he slithered and rocketed up Lord March’s front drive.
2011 Honda Civic at Detroit
Tue, 14 Dec 2010The 2011 Honda Civic - debut at then 2011 Detroit Motor Show Honda are previewing the Honda Civic Concept at next month’s Detroit Motor Show and have releaed a sketch to let us know what to expect. But this isn’t really a concept, it’s the 2011 Honda Civic and it will be on sale in the US by the Spring. Although it’s never particularly sensible to judge a car from a sketch – car companies do like to employ a little artistic license when rendering product yet to be – it seems clear that the 2011 Civic is going to get styling evolved from the Honda CR-Z with a bit of current Civic Type-R aggression thrown in as standard.
