This is a unique one! This is a set of 4 wheel rims and tires from a H2 Hummer (from a 2008 - 2009 Hummer) and they are in great shape with little wear and with plenty of tire tread! The rims are 17 inch by 8.5 inch width, tires on them are B. F. Goodrich All Terrain T/A in size LT315/70R17. These are 8 lug rims with a bolt circle of 6.5 inches and they fit on various vehicles besides Hummers - various GM vehicles etc.... you will have to reference other applications.  Rims are in very good shape as shown, no notice of curb tear-up or rash, a few minor imperfections and surface scratches/scuffs/imperfections, but relatively minor - I have pictured these along with pics of each rim. The rims have been in storage this last year as the vehicle was sold with fancier rims on it, so no need anymore for the factory ones. These are large, heavy pieces, the tires look to have about a 1/2 of inch tread to them and present very well as shown in the pictures. Back of rims are clean, no damage or repairs noted. These would be great rims to use on a Hummer for winter driving or on another vehicle instead of fancier rims or they would be great as wheels on a new build or as an upgrade to your vehicle. Recognize that these rims are not mint, but used, but I think you would be impressed with how clean they are and how good the tires are - especially for the price. These are local pickup items once they are paid, there are no returns, no warranty or guarantee, and all four are selling as is and as shown. Just a great eBay deal if you can use them!*****

Shipping is marked as local pickup due to size and weight. Item is located in Watseka, IL (about 1.5 hours south of Chicago, Illinois and about 15 miles from the Illinois and Indiana border). Located in a rural area with easy pickup and access. Please call before coming. Once invoice is sent and paid for by buyer, item can be picked up - payment by only Paypal is fine. If you have questions, I will be happy to try to help etc...  just contact Dr. Brian through Ebay's "ask the seller a question" link. Just another great eBay deal!*****

2015 Land Rover Defender WON’T look like DC100 Concept

Wed, 17 Oct 2012

Gerry McGovern - Land Rover’s Design Director – has said the 2015 Land Rover Defender won’t look like the DC100 Concept. Most of the feedback Land Rover got was pretty positive, although there were comments from traditional Defender owners that the DC100 looked like a toy Defender and not the rugged icon they wanted. But it looks like those traditional buyers of the Land Rover Defender can stop panicking that their wheels of choice will be turned in to a style statement instead of a workhorse after Gerry McGovern - Land Rover’s Design Director – told CarAdvice that the 2015 Defender won’t look like the DC100 after all.
