Pulled from a running ski, motor has been rebuilt (cases resealed) but history is unknown. Everything pictured you will receive including stator/flywheel/front cover/coupler/starter/exhaust manifold/rotary wheel (still timed). The stator wires have been cut mid length. This is originally a white motor that was painted at one time. It has some exterior corrosion but cases and crank look clean and in great shape through inspection of intake ports. Compression was measured at approx. 151/149. Cosmetics aside, great runner! As with all motors with unknown history I sell "as-is" with recommendations of replacing gaskets and crank seals. Former GM exec Joel Ewanick joins Fisker
Tue, 27 Nov 2012Fisker Automotive has hired ousted General Motors' global marketing boss Joel Ewanick to be interim chief of global sales and marketing for the maker of luxury plug-in hybrids. Ewanick, 52, will replace industry veteran Richard Beattie, 58, who announced his retirement Monday, Fisker spokesman Roger Ormisher said. Ewanick has been working with Fisker as a marketing consultant for at least six weeks and will fill Beattie's role until a full-time replacement is named, Ormisher said.

Mon, 07 Apr 2014The new Mercedes SL 400 (pictured) replaces the old SL 350 It’s a little over two years since the latest Mercedes SL arrived, and Mercedes has now decided to add a little zest to sales by dropping the old SL 350 and replacing it with a new Mercedes SL 400. The new SL 400 gets its power from the new E400 which means a twin-turbo 3.0 litre V6 with 328bhp and 354 lb/ft of torque – 26bhp and 81 lb/ft more than the old SL 350 – enough to let the SL 400 scoot to 62 mph in 5.2 seconds – 0.7s better than the 350 -= and on to a limited top speed of 155 mph. The new SL 400 has to make do with Mercedes tried and tested 7-speed auto – despite a new 9-speed now being available in Mercedes’ arsenal – which gives the SL 400 official economy of 38.6 mpg and emissions of 172g/km – not that you’ll come close in the real world.
Tour of quake zone shows Akio Toyoda 'the depth of destruction'

President Akio Toyoda toured Japan's earthquake disaster zone, including the damaged assembly plant opened there in January, as the world's largest automaker struggles to get a grip on the supplier crisis and resume production. Toyoda's trip on Sunday and Monday took him to Miyagi prefecture, near the epicenter of the killer March 11 quake and an area being positioned by Toyota as its domestic center for small car production.
