1 (one) large Ronstan Sailboat Snatch Block, with the rare heavy duty large 'Trunnion' snap shackles and Ivory White cheeks. They have the large shackles, big enough to mount on virtually any toe rail or mounting point. Designed for high loads and added articulation.   Ball Bearing Metal sheaves can accommodate large Diameter line, up to 5/8".

Were used on my 35ft Island Packet (sold on 5/2016) and cared for lovingly, slight cosmetic marks on cheeks. 


Tesla pays off its government loans

Tesla paid off the last of its $465 million government loans May 22, nine years ahead of schedule, thus outperforming most U.S. college graduates and the vast majority of American homeowners. Tesla used funds from a stock offering to finish the loan with a whopping bank transfer of $451.8 million Wednesday, pointing out that it was “…the only American car company to have fully repaid the government.” Apparently no one at Tesla was even born when Lee Iacocca paid off Chrysler's $1.2-billion government bailout ahead of schedule back in 1983.

The BMW M5 ‘30 Jahre M5’ has an extra 39bhp from a tweaked version of its 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8, plus there’s a smattering of special trim and anniversary badging, and just 300 will be built. Apparently ‘this power boost has been achieved through carefully calculated tweaks to the engine management and an increase in charge pressure’.
