Last month, when we reported that Ferrari Racing Days are back at Silverstone in September, we mentioned that Ferrari North Europe were planning on grabbing back their record for the most Ferraris on parade. Jaguar Heritage Museum to close Jaguar has decided to close the Jaguar Heritage Museum at Browns Lane as they wind down operations at the historic site. It’s less than three years since the Jaguar Heritage Museum was relaunched as a show case for the history of Jaguar cars. With 150 cars in its collection – from the first Jaguar badged car, the 1937 SS, to C-Type, D-Type and the last convertible V12 E-Type – the Jaguar Heritage Museum is a magnet for Jaguar nuts from around the world.

Speading plea as fines quadruple

A MOTHER whose two-year-old son was one of eight people who died in a horrific road crash has spoken of the need for motorists to "break the habit of speeding to prevent more needless deaths". Tracey Mohabir's comments came as the Government announced a four-fold increase in fines available to magistrates, meaning motorway speeders could be forced to pay up to £10,000. Mrs Mohabir's son Marcus was travelling with his father Steve and two friends, Toby and Kate Beasley, when their Land Rover was hit by a speeding BMW which crashed through the central reservation on the A23 near Pycombe, Sussex, on May 16 2004.
