Offering a very rare prewar vacuum pressure gauge. It was a test gauge I put into this NOS housing. Notice on the back there is a side screw to relieve the pressure and where the plug is it was a drain. The thumb screw head can stay off. See pics. The NOS brass nickel plated housing has a at the top left screw hole, plating is not shinny there in a spot see pic. This is the most beautiful gauge I ever had. it weighs a little over a pound. Glass has some chips on the edge but only one chip can be seen when glass installed. see pics the chip is positioned at the bottom. 2 5/8 size hole or its base measures 2.65. We're Getting More MPG
Thu, 11 Jul 2013The average car/truck/SUV sold by the top eight brands in America makes almost one mile per gallon more than it did a year ago, according to sales-weighted data from the industry analysts at TrueCar. TrueCar's TrueMPG industry average of 23.7 mpg remains the highest the car market has seen, 0.7-mpg higher than at this time last year. The biggest gainers by brand are Nissan and Chrysler, which improved their fleets by 1.1 mpg over last year's numbers.
