BMW 2-series Active Tourer makes world debut at the Geneva motor show

Like it or not, BMW's front-wheel future is trundling our way fast: The new 2-series Active Tourer, a front-wheel-drive MPV powered by a range of transverse-mounted three- and four-cylinder motors made its official debut Tuesday at the Geneva motor show. There wasn't much we didn't know about the 2-series Active Tourer ahead of the show -- catch yourself up with our full breakdown -- but seeing it in the steel drove home the point that this thing is happening, and we're powerless to stop it. Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe Aviator Edition Pebble debut

Rolls Royce has created a special edition of the Phantom Coupe – the Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe Aviator Edition – to debut at Pebble Beach. Even car makers at the very top end produce limited edition models to garner extra sales, and Rolls Royce is no different. With the Pebble Beach petrolhead jolly about to kick-off in Monterey, Rolls Royce has revealed a limited edition Phantom Coupe – the  Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe Aviator Edition – which will debut at Quail and celebrates Charles Rolls’ passion for aviation.

Aston Martin Sale: Mahindra & Investindustrial front runners

It seems the battle to take a stake in Aston Martin has come down to a battle between Mahindra & Mahindra and Investindustrial. After reporting more than a year ago that Aston Martin urgently needed a new owner, or major investor, if it is to survive, it became clear earlier this month that Aston Martin was ready to acknowledge that need as the Kuwait Investment Dar starting seeking a buyer for the majority of its majority stake in AML. So far we’ve had Mahindra and Mahindra, Tata (owners of Jaguar Land Rover), Toyota and unnamed Chinese investors in the frame, but it seems the race to take a big chunk of Aston Martin Lagonda has come down to just two – Mahindra and Investindustrial.
