From the OTC Pathfinder III Literature:

Diagnostic functions and data stream capabilities are combined into one software program.  Pathfinder III software will perform all or a combination of diagnostic tests on a vehicle and it gives you access to data stream information.  The software menu screen shows only those tests available for the vehicle being tests and it shows only the data stream sensors and switches installed on the vehicle.

Pathfinder III Database program:

The Pathfinder III software is a powerful program that is able to search a large database of information to quickly locate the data you need to diagnose the repair problems identified by automotive trouble codes or by the symptoms you see.  Pathfinder III does this by looking for logical relationships between the vehicle, trouble codes or symptoms, and the data stored in the data files.  Then it organizes those relationships beginning with the most likely tests and repair solutions for that vehicle.

Autodesk European Automotive Days 2008

Tue, 28 Oct 2008

The 2008 Autodesk European Automotive Days conference was held last week in Munich, bringing together 200 automotive design and visualization experts. Autodesk presented their strategy and vision for industrial design, with an emphasis on 'digital prototyping', where even at the concept stage the digital model is treated not just as a set of surfaces, but is integrated within the engineering process as as a functional digital prototype, with the aim to eventually replace physical models entirely. There was also a recognition that traditional techniques continue to have an important place alongside digital workflows, as the workflows and technologies continue to evolve.

We'll just call it the new 2011 VW Beetle. 2011 VW Beetle: trading flower-power for outlaw rodder Wider, lower and longer, the 2011 Beetle abandons its predecessors three semi-circle styling for the flat-roof look of 2005’s hot rod-inspired Ragster concept. At the front, the Beetle adopts the corporate horizontal intake styling and a more angular front bumper melded with a less curvaceous evolution of the 1998 New Beetle styling template.
