Now for the Good Part---This is an Original Authentic Vintage used 1959 Volkswagen Beetle Bug Rear View Mirror and Sun Visors. This is Not a repro or Re-Make. This is Fresh from an Estate Sale and offered On-Line for the First Time. We are Not Auto Parts Dealers and will try to answer any questions that you have. We believe that this might interchange from 1958 to 1964 Models. And, we also believe that the Numbers and Markings puts this one at 1959. The Spear Shaped Mount on Mirror is Marked: 113 857 521 B---F.A.M. VW. It has Not been cleaned or polished. The chrome could definitely be cleaned and polished. The Glass is Good in the Mirror. The Vinyl appears to be good on the Visors with No holes or cracks. We feel like this could be used right now. We do not see any Breaks, Cracks, Chips or repairs at all to this unit. Arizona auctions: Scottsdale sales net an estimated $157 million
Mon, 24 Jan 2011WITH VIDEO -- Five days of sales staged by auto auction companies in the Phoenix area pulled in a combined estimated total of $157 million, according to Hagerty Insurance. The five companies staging auctions--Barrett-Jackson, Gooding & Co., RM Auctions, Russo and Steele and Silver Auctions--offered 2,887 lots for sale and sold 2,325 of them, an 81 percent sell-through rate. A 2006 Ferrari FXX Evoluzione at the Gooding auction was listed as the top single sale with a price of $2.09 million, Hagerty said.
Winners of Australia's 2011 Target 2030 design competition revealed
Wed, 13 Jul 2011The winners of the 2011 Target 2030 ‘Design the Car of the Future' competition have been announced. The Victorian Automotive Chamber of Commerce (VACC) presented the winners of the Australian design competition with their Target 2030 Plaque and winner's check at a presentation ceremony at the Australian International Motor Show at the Melbourne Exhibition Center. There were three categories within the competition: model-making, design and essay.
New Toyota Auris starts rolling out at Burnaston
Mon, 05 Nov 2012The new 2013 Toyota Auris – Toyota’s modern Corolla – has commenced production at the Toyota plant in Burnaston. Toyota revealed the new Auris back in August – ahead of a public debut at the Paris Motor Show – which, although pretty much the previous Auris when you dig deep, does offer a more dynamic look and the promise of better driving dynamics too. With the new Auris a big deal for Toyota in Europe, Toyota are trumpeting the start of Auris production in Burnaston and have rolled out Vince Cable, Secretary of State for Business, to mark the occasion.
