OPTIMA SINGLE BATTERY BOX (NEW) these are made of 1 piece of steel, no welds needed! We made them with very tight tolerances so the battery will not move around and the top plate is also cut in a shape to fit the battery. They have no predetermined location holes cut in them so you can use them as best suits your project without having to workaround someone else's idea of how it should be done! We used mild steel because stainless just isn't necessary in something that is not a show truck and why add $50 to the cost if you don't have to? These are for an Optima 34/78 battery, the most popular size. |

In many ways it reminds me of the interior on the previous model Range Rover Sport. The one I recently decried as “ill-conceived and felt low-rent”. Which was how it felt in the Sport (much improved now, I hasten to add).

Thu, 01 Sep 2011Volkswagen will give its newest concept vehicle, named Nils, its public debut at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show. The single-seat electric concept vehicle, which has been designed to be economical and production feasible, features an aluminium space frame, wing doors and free-standing wheels. Though its inspiration may come from Formula 1, the styling has its origins at the Volkswagen Design Centre in Potsdam, Berlin.
Mazda Tribute recalled for same fix as Ford Escape
Fri, 27 Jul 2012Mazda is recalling 217,500 copies of the Tribute SUV--from the 2001 through 2008 model years--to fix a sticking throttle. The same problem prompted Ford to recall the mechanically similar Escape SUV on July 26. Ford built the Tribute for Mazda, as well as the Escape.
