Lamborghini V12 Parade at Sant'Agata Bolognese Back at the start of November we reported that Lamborghini were celebrating the end of the Murcielago after almost a decade of V12 goodness from Sant’Agata’s finest. Which was a bit of an odd time to celebrate, we thought, especially as Murcielago 4099 rolled of the line back in May. But the news – it transpires – was timed to coincide with a parade of the finest V12 Lamborghinis around Sant’Agata Bolognese to celebrate Lamborghini’s finest creations.

Jaguar to end XK production after 18 years

Jaguar will this summer cease production of the XK 2+2 GT car after 18 years at the top of the Coventry firm’s model range. The decision to stop making the XK comes after the hugely successful launch of the F-Type – which, say analysts, has led to a big fall in XK sales as thousands of buyers queues up to buy the F-Type. Paper tax discs will soon be scrapped forever, but a survey of drivers has found that a half are clueless about the new rules. The survey, of more than 1,000 people, suggests that the DVLA has failed to efficiently inform motorists of the changes – despite them coming in from the 1 October 2014.
