By Tim Pollard Motor Shows 06 March 2007 03:50 Skoda looks to the Mini for Fabia body kit Expect to see some Mini-inspired styling cues on Skoda's new Fabia, taken from this concept car unveiled today at the Geneva show. Tucked in a corner alongside a rally car concept, the funked-up Fabia had a silver roof and door mirror caps; although not yet officially confirmed for production, officials reckon the new look will make it to showrooms, unlike a Fabia Scout faux-by-four, which was ruled out. The Fabia goes on sale in May for around £8000.

Jaguar XJ Supersport Nurbrurgring Taxi Jaguar has launched a ‘Taxi’ service at the Nürburgring Nordschleife with an XJ Supersport fitted with Sport & Speed Packs. When most of us think of a Nurburgring Taxi we think of Sabine Schmitz frightening the life out of Munich businessmen with a swift lap of the ‘Ring in an M5. Sadly, Sabine doesn’t play Taxi driver any more and BMW use M3s.

Eponymous founding father Enzo set up in Modena in 1929 as the Scuderia race team, and it wasn't unitl 1947 that the first road cars appeared. Since then, virtually every model has come to define the contemporary supercar, although there have been some duds along the way too.
