A gas cell Hypershock™ with a chrome plated steel body. This shock will not fade no matter how long the race. It can be run in any position, including upside down. This is desireable because it reduces unsprung weight by having only the shaft move with the suspension (instead of the shaft standing still and the whole shock body moving).

Shocks now include 1/2" bearing ends. Accepts coil-over mount kits.

Dodge to stop Viper production next July, new car set for 2012

The future of the Dodge Viper came into focus on Wednesday during Chrysler's strategy briefing for media and analysts. Ralph Gilles, recently named chief of the Dodge car brand, said that production of the current Viper production will cease at the end of next July. The final 500 cars have been earmarked to be special vehicles, Gilles said.

BMW 1-Series gets 4WD xDrive

BMW has announced that the 1-Series will be offered with xDrive 4WD on the 120d and M135i. But the UK won’t get the M135i xDrive. The last few winters in the UK, with heavy snow falls and lots of slip-sliding, has focused drivers’ minds on the benefits of 4WD, so the announcement by BMW that they’re going to offer xDrive on the 1-Series will be welcome news.

New Chevrolet Colorado pickup is headed for U.S. showrooms

The redesigned Chevrolet Colorado pickup, which is launching this month in Thailand, will be sold in the United States, Chevrolet said on Monday. The new Colorado was developed by General Motors' Brazil operations to be sold globally. GM said the current Colorado will be sold through the 2012 model year.
