I am not a professional dealer or reseller. All of the items that I sell on eBay are from my personal possessions, which I inherited or bought over the years. Besides simply enjoying the pre-auction research, as a hobby, my eBay auctions are a way for me to get my good stuff into the hands of those who appreciate them. I am always happy to combine the shipping expense, for winners of multiple auctions, as I am not trying to make money on shipping.

For your consideration, you are bidding on my Previously Purchased, but Never Installed XMDirect Model XM-RVR-D-001 Satellite Radio Receiver with a Low-Profile Micro Antenna. From my recent research, this was manufactured prior to the XM and Sirius merger. This device was designed to trick a new car radio that had the Sirius satellite capability to be able to work with the XM radio service. (As always, satellite radio service requires your own paid subscription). Now that XM and Sirius have merged, you will have to be the judge of what value this has today. The Installation Guide points out that the XMDirect cable is purchased separately (NOT included). I can't find any negative condition issues to mention, as this is simply New-Old-Stock (NOS), in the original packaging. In the box, this weighs 1-Pound 2.4-Ounces, without counting additional for overpackaging. Hopefully, from the pictures and my description, you can fully appreciate what is being offered here.

Please let me know if you have any questions. As you can see from my positive eBay feedback, I pride myself in shipping very quickly/carefully and my auctions descriptions are accurate.

MORE THAN one in three hire car users have found unreported damage on hired vehicles upon collection, according to new data. A survey conducted by YouGov found that 37% of business travellers found damage to their hired vehicle which was not marked down on the documentation when they collected the car. This could lead to the user being charged for the damage and liable to lose any insurance excess amount – which could be as much as £2,000.

Saab struggles with bills – Vladimir says it’s all fine

Thu, 31 Mar 2011

The Saab production line grinds to a halt as components run out I think we all hoped that after the long, painful transition from GM ownership in to new hands at Spyker that things would settle down and Saab would get back to making cars instead of headlines. But it seems not. Just a few days ago we had news that lifetime Saab man and CEO of Saab Jan Åke Jonsson is to step down in May, together with the news that Saab lost €140 million in 2010.

Jaguar Land Rover raise £500 million Jaguar Land Rover is raising £500 million on the bond market to fund its expansion, including new models and new facilities. Hot on the heels of the Jaguar Land Rover joint venture deal with Chery in China comes the news that Jaguar has dipped in to the private bond market to raise £500 million to help with its bold and bullish plans to make JLR a major world player in the premium vehicle sector. JLR plans to invest £1.5 billion a year on expansion and is making sure its coffers can cope by issuing £500 million of senior notes due in 2020, with the net proceeds of the bonds being used for general corporate purposes.
