Please note: Although many have now purchased and used this adjuster to repair a failed automatic adjuster, this adjuster was originally designed/intended for competition vehicles, it takes moderate experience and tooling to install and adjust.
Improper installation/adjustment could disable vehicle safety features.

You are bidding on a manual cable adjuster, with firewall grommet for the 1995-1999 manual transmission equipped Neon. The adjuster takes the place of the automatic adjuster; it eliminates the factory 'Mush Pedal' feeling and allows pedal to be adjusted to driver's preference.

To install, you will need to cut apart and discard the automatic adjuster from clutch cable assembly, retain external Spring and rubber damper, and adjust clutch to your liking. Please wear safety glasses during the procedure; there is a small internal spring that may exit at high speeds.

Twin Disc, FX-750, etc., clutches: We've found combinations of non-OEM style clutches and throwout bearings (SRT) will cause cable to be too short. In this case, please let us know, we are glad to supply a longer adjuster.

6061-T6 Billet and Rubber; this auction does NOT include the cable.

Note, last picture shows what you need to remove, Dremel tool and cable NOT included.

They do always arrive; of dozens of orders, I've yet to have one not be delivered.

Fri, 16 Jul 2010

The Porsche 911 Carrera - less polluting than the What Car Green Car Award Winners Earlier today we did a round-up of this year’s What Car Green Car Award winners. Which many find of interest as they believe the right thing to do is buy a car with low CO2 emissions. Regular readers will know that we are not impressed with the obsession with CO2 and want Governments to stop taxing motorists based on the nonsense that CO2 is harmful, and instead base taxation and future objectives for the car industry on what really matters – emissions from cars that are detrimental to health.
