I'm a car collector who has accumulated too many parts over the years...it's time to move some of this stuff on to someone who needs it!

Up for sale here is a near-mint condition 1973 Mercury Marquis chrome grille assembly.  This thing really doesn't look like it was ever installed on a car (and perhaps it wasn't, but I can't confirm it's NOS so I'm selling it as used).

The chrome is beautiful, with no pitting.  The black painted areas are still solid black.  There is a crack in the pot metal in the upper left-hand corner of this grille...but it won't be noticeable once installed, I'm sure.

This grille is ALL METAL...and weighs a ton...no piddly plastic grille on these great old cars!

Check out the photos!  This grille is beautiful!

Thanks for looking!

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 08 September 2009 12:57 PSA is forging closer links with Mitsubishi; after the Outlander became the C-Crosser and 4007, now Peugeot has teamed up with the Japanese to launch the i0n – an electric car based on the electric Mitsubishi i-car. The zero-emissions Peugeot i0n (combines a zero with ions, geddit?) will go on sale at the end of 2010 and builds on the French company’s expertise with EVs stretching all the way back to 1995 when it launched the 106 Electric. It’ll go 80 miles on one charge of the lithium ion battery, making it ideal for urban commuting and short shuttles, says Peugeot.

Porsche 918 infotainment system to be based on HTML5

Wed, 07 Aug 2013

While some automakers, like Ford and General Motors, are beginning to open up their code to outside developers via application programming interfaces, Porsche's taking a very interesting route for the 918 Spyder's infotainment system. The the hybrid supercar's dashboard interface uses the same code that the modern Internet runs on: HTML5. Germany's AutoBild reports that Porsche cites the ease of programming as part of their rationale for the system; smartphone integration is another.
