Condition:Used

Unique fiddle, triple block with 7" diameter wooden sheaves. Block is 36" H x 7" W x 7" D and weighs about 50 lbs. A 10' length of 2" manila is attached. This an extraordinary decorative piece for a large installation. The housing is forged metal with blacksmith forged bolts. Block is probably oak, but we have not attempted to clean it. Experts have inspected this item and concluded that it was not designed for use but as a decorative item. The sheaves are not of ironwood and the metal sheathing is not designed for the heavy loads that would have been exerted. We have adjusted the price accordingly. Free shipping in the continental US.

It's been earmarked as a stopgap flagship before a proper rear-wheel drive challenger to the Mercedes S-class and Lexus LS comes on stream. Car Design News took to the streets of Detroit to find out if it captures that big Cadillac vibe on home turf.
