Here's a very good condition original used pair of 1967-74 Mopar A-body, or 1966-67 B-body (except Charger) front lower part of fender brace (stiffening rod) to front bumper brackets. Approx. 12-inches long, these prevent the lower lip of fender (in front of tire) from rolling in, greatly strengthening it. These were both bead blasted and painted in black paint. Very solid and clean pieces as these go. Look very decent, but if you want really nice, you could sand them down and paint them again with a little more paint to look very good. The come with the original bolts and clips to attach them at edge of fender and to front bumper brackets. They braces / rods have just a little bit of curve or wavyness (as do most), but don't think you'll even notice when mounted up. Fairly easily straightenable if you wanted to a little more.
Brand:Original Mopar, for an early 1970s era Dart. Surface Finish:Were both blasted and painted, clean, not pitted. Manufacturer Part Number:1-pr, for left & right fenders to frt bumper brkts Warranty:Yes Interchange Part Number:Nice and solid and clean, not badly corroded. Country/Region of Manufacture:United States Other Part Number:Come with hardware, have a little curve to them. Make:Original Mopar, Placement on Vehicle:Left, Right, Front

Up for your consideraton is this very good condition original used pair of fender front stiffening braces / rods for 1967-74 Mopar A-body (Dart, Duster, Demon, Scamp, Valiant, or 67-69 Cuda), or 1966-67 B-body (Satellite, GTX, Coronet, R/T) but not Charger).  Originally off an early 1970s Dart. These measure approx. 12-inches overall length.  They come with all original hardware to attach to both the lower front lip of fender and the front bumper brackets as well.

Featured fender braces are both nice solid pieces, that were both bead blasted and then painted a satin black.  Not all pitted or otherwise corroded.  The paint work is fair, but to be real nice, you may just want to sand them a little and paint with a couple more coats of satin black to look very nice.  Like most of these, they have a little curve or wavyness to them, but not real bad.  If you need perfect, they would be fairly easy to straighten on an anvil. Otherwise just use as is, and I don't think most people would hardly notice anything.

Don't be without these on your fenders!  They really do help to strengthen and stiffen the lower lip of fender in front of wheel opening area, that can easily bend and roll under without these on.  Be sure to put in that good bid today!  Thanks for stopping in to look and bid!

Saab's latest factory shutdowns 'just a blip'

Mon, 11 Apr 2011

Saab’s liquidity crisis is a short-term ‘blip’, according to sources close to the company. Production at its Trolhattan plant in Sweden has been halted several times in the past fortnight, by suppliers refusing to deliver parts because of unpaid invoices. However, the company is confident that the impasse will be resolved soon.

Toyota Prius MPV teased

Mon, 11 Oct 2010

The Toyota Prius MPV Facebook Tease We reported back in May that Toyota were finally going to produce a Toyota Prius MPV – probably with an extra row of seats – in 2011. Which looks to be on the money if the photo above, which has turned up on the Toyota Prius Facebook page today, is anything to go by. The photo seems to make it clear that even though Toyota are using the tag line “The Prius family is getting a whole lot bigger” we should sensibly conclude that the biggest bit of bigger is that there will be an MPV and a plug-in.
