HERE IS A NICE OLD MODEL A FORD ENGINE WITH TRANSMISSION THAT I JUST RECENTLY GOT. THE MOTOR TURNS FREE AND IF PUT IN GEAR THE U- JOINT TURNS. THE ENGINE NUMBER IS....A-1110293...... THE CARBURETOR IS A TILLITSON. CRANK PULLEY IS BROKEN...AND THERE IS NOTHING IN THE POP OUT CABLE. EXHAUST MANIFOLD HAS BEEN REPAIRED. THERE IS SOME WIRING AND THE TRANSMISSION GEARS LOOK GOOD AS DOES THE CLUTCH ASSEMBLY...LOOK AT THE PICTURES. THE DISTRIBUTOR CAP IS THE NEW STYLE BUT WIRES ARE BAD. OIL LOOKS CLEAN... I DON'T KNOW MUCH ELSE BUT THIS LOOKS LIKE A VERY NICE OLD MOTOR. PLEASE LOOK CLOSELY TO THE PICTURES AND DECIDE.

Jaguar XJ & XF get 4WD
Thu, 16 Aug 2012Jaguar has announced that four wheel drive versions of the Jaguar XJ and Jaguar XF will be available – but not in the UK. Jaguar has long bemoaned the lack of a 4WD platform for their cars, and even blamed such a lack of flexibility for the delay in launching the XF Sportbrake. We’ve been expecting Jaguar to reveal a 4WD version of the XJ for a while (especially as the new Range Rover utilises the same platform) but we didn’t expect a 4WD XF until the next generation XF launches in a couple of years.
Entries open for Opel/Vauxhall Interactive Design Competition
Mon, 25 Oct 2010Entries can now be submitted to the interactive design competition from Opel/Vauxhall, in partnership with CDN, which asks students: "What do you think is our lounge style?" Students are invited to upload their entries to the competition website www.cardesigncontest.com, where they can be viewed and commented upon by the design community as well as other students. CDN and Opel/Vauxhall is encouraging entrants to start uploading material from day one to increase their changes of getting useful feedback on their entries. The competition judges, as well as the design community and other students, will be looking at your research imagery and mood boards, sketches, renderings and video – whatever you feel best represents your vision.
Connected Car Expo is coming to Los Angeles Auto Show
Wed, 18 Sep 2013A day before the start of the LA Auto Show will be the Connected Car Expo, which will show us the latest in singing, dancing, electronic gadgetry and advances in infotainment. In addition to the two press days, November 19th promises to feature some big companies making some equally big announcements. Audi will unveil its A3 and S3 models with the first 4G LTE system built into a car, complementing its already Wifi-enabled offerings.
