Just drill a pilot hole for the draw bolt, then apply the tool and tighten the bolt for a smooth, flared hole in one easy step.

Punch hole only by removing female flare ring and use punch and die.

 

The 2-5/8" Punch & Flare is great for aerosol cans.

Features

Automotive (Standard) Punch & Flare Tools (automotive and industrial) are designed to punch the required hole size and follow with a 45-degree radius angle (leg length of ¼”) in metal thickness of .040” to .065” aluminum and mild steel.

The total clearance after the punch / flare is made will be 1/8” larger than the punch size ie: 1” OD punch will enlarge to 1-1/8” OD after punch / flare.

Punch to die clearance is 0.012”.
