Stops faster: Thanks to new XST+ sipes, MICHELIN Pilot Road 4 tires stop faster in the wet than any other tyres in the category. The MICHELIN Pilot Road 4 tire stops 17% faster than its closest competitor on wet roads, and 24% faster on a wet slippery surface such as a pedestrian crossing or painted lines. All of which means, riding in the rain should feel safer and more secure, and a lot less stressful. Lasts longer: Thanks to improved 2CT technology, new MICHELIN Pilot Road 4 tires last up to 20% longer than the MICHELIN Pilot Road 3 tires. Over the long run, that adds up to fewer tire changes and a lower total cost of ownership. Grips the road in virtually all conditions: All-new silica-charged rubber compounds were developed for the MICHELIN Pilot Road 4 tires. These compounds are specially formulated to provide excellent grip on a wide range of road surfaces, including painted lines and pedestrian crossings, making it easier for you to ride with confidence in virtually all conditions. MICHELIN 2AT provides extra stability for heavier loads: Whether you are riding your GT-class bike solo, 2-up or with luggage, you'll appreciate the added stability provided by MICHELIN's new 2AT technology. With MICHELIN 2AT technology, your heavy touring bike will feel stable and secure in both straight line and cornering situations. |

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray: 2013 Detroit Auto Show
Tue, 15 Jan 2013Chevrolet has debuted the 2014 Corvette Stingray at the Detroit Motor Show, the most powerful – and fuel efficient – Corvette to date. Revealed at the Detroit Auto Show, the new Corvette – which gets the fabled ‘Stingray’ moniker – comes as standard with a 6.2 litre V8 delivering 450 horses and 450lb/ft of torque which translates in to a properly swift 0-60mph of under four seconds, and yet conspires to offer official economy of 26mpg – just not at the same time. But it looks like the new Corvette may be able to go round corners as well as it goes in a straight line, with a new seven-speed manual ‘box with rev matching driving the power to the rear wheels, and a five position Drive Mode Selector that’s said to tailor 12 vehicle attributes to suit intent and environment.

The Sonata ad was a trifle of pedestrian whimsy, while the Genesis sedan R-Spec spot grated, grated and grated some more. Now, with the kickoff looming, the Korean automaker's loosed its marquee ad, promoting the 2013 Santa Fe, upon the YouTubifying unwashed.
