Madison, Alabama, United States
Condition:Used Brand:Mercruiser Country/Region of Manufacture:United States Manufacturer Part Number:Alpha One Gen II

This lower unit is compatible with all Alpha One Gen II Sterndrive gear ratios except 2.0:1.  This lower unit is in perfect working order and has only been used in fresh water.  It has all new seals and will pass a pressure test at 10 PSI.  The tooth count is 17-28.  The drive gear has 17 teeth and the driven gear has 28 teeth.

This lower unit came on a boat that I purchased with a Mercruiser Sterndrive gear ratio of 2.0:1.  I had to replace it because it is not the correct lower unit for a 2.0:1 gear ratio
 sterndrive.

Peugeot 207 Economique – the 99g car

As you may well have guessed, this is another car maker rolling out the usual low rolling resistance, lowered suspension, gear-change-light, steel wheels version of their regular runaround to create a car that magically dips below 100g/km CO2. Of course it’s completely disingenuous, because unless you drive like you’re carrying the last live eggs of the Dodo all the time you won’t get the CO2 levels quoted, and nor will you get the headline economy.

Skoda Fabia GreenLine does 127mpg in the hands of Gerhard Plattner

Sat, 14 May 2011

Hyper-miler Gerhard Plattner with the 127mpg Skoda Fabia GreenLine That rings a bell, we thought. A guy called Gerhard Plattner doing mega-miles in a Skoda. And then we remembered that two years ago the same guy managed to average 100mpg on  a trip in a SEAT Ibiza ECOMOTIVE between Barcelona to Germany.
