The latest moves: -- Toyota added another 1.1 million vehicles to those recalled to modify accelerator pedals that may get stuck under the edge of the floor mat. Toyota has now recalled a total of 4.3 million vehicles for this issue.

Infiniti has unveiled its first IPL (or Infiniti Performance Line) package, a sports-focussed trim upgrade for the G37 Coupe. Think of the IPL pack as the equivalent of BMW’s M Sport or Audi’s S-line kits, and if it proves popular, there’ll be more kits (and even bespoke cars) to come. Nissan has added another entry to the list of things see at the upcoming Paris motor show in the shape of its TeRRA SUV concept. The TeRRA is a seeming oxymoron as an electric SUV, mixing two of Nissan's strongest market segments into a vehicle that resembles a cross between a Leaf and a Patrol. "You have the big tires, high belt-line, thick pillars and thin side windows of the SUV vocabulary,” explains Shiro Nakamura, Nissan senior vice president and chief creative officer.
