It was considered the grand daddy of all flying air shows. Made up of mostly WWI ex-military flyers, it captivated crowds with daredevil flight performances, wing walking and parachuting demonstrations. My Grandfather began his aviation career barnstorming in a $250 war surplus Jenny and then later flying for the Gates Flying Circus. Orville Wright signed his license, license number 1000. My father came along at a time my grandfather was buying surplus PT19s and Stearmans for a few hundred dollars. My father continued the passion for flying and owned dozens of aircraft over the years. My brother flew for Cole Palen's Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome. In his last few days, my father's eyes twinkled when I brought some flying magazines to his bed side. In honor of my dad, I'm continuing our aviation heritage. Rolls-Royce confirms new Wraith coupé for Geneva
Fri, 18 Jan 2013Rolls-Royce will launch its new Wraith coupé model at this year's Geneva motor show, thought to be a dramatic fastback based on the Ghost. The carmaker's CEO, Torsten Müller-Ötvös, announced the news this morning at the company's World Dealer Conference in London, claiming that the Wraith will have "the boldest design, the most dramatic performance" and be the most powerful model yet. The Wraith will shape the future of Rolls-Royce and build on the success of Ghost and Phantom.

Stephen Becker has been an authorized Shelby dealer since 2007, having sold and delivered 49 cars between 2007 and 2010, according to the suit. Becker has sold various Shelby cars for many years before that, and says he knew Carroll Shelby as early as 1977.

There has been talk for some time that Toyota are going to stretch the GT 86 by 4″, add a couple of back doors and turn it in to a four-door coupe. And that’s exactly what the organisers of the Dubai International Motor Show – which starts tomorrow – are claiming on their Facebook page, together with a photo (above) which seems to show a four-door GT 86.
