Laser® Sailboat Dolly
Dolly for the Laser® based upon the same proven quick release system as used on the optimist dolly. Made of square aluminum tube with rounded corners. The frame has welded joints and is anodized to provent corrosion. The bow locks into a horseshoe shaped padded support and the hull rests on 2 side supports which lock under the gunwale. This provides a stable support. Unlike other manufacturers we do not use a webbing sling which will increase the risk of osmosis. Spring locking (quick release) allows the unit to be disassembled in a matter of seconds for storage and travel. *This item is brand new in the original box. Daimler & BYD reveal the Denza EV Concept: Beijing 2012
Wed, 25 Apr 2012Denza EV Concept The partnership between Daimler and BYD in China has revealed its first fruit – the Denza EV Concept - at the Beijing Motor Show. It’s just a few weeks since we learned that Daimler and BYD had come up with a name for their joint venture in China to produce New Energy Vehicles (basically EVs). Denza – or Tengshi, in Chinese – seeks to take Daimler’s expertise in car making (and they do claim more than any other car maker on the planet) and mate it with BYD’s undoubted expertise in electric cars to build a car company that only produces new energy vehicles.
New NHTSA guidelines recommend vehicle systems disable text entry, videos while driving
Tue, 23 Apr 2013Federal regulators, moving to curb distracted driving, issued final voluntary safety guidelines today that would disable certain in-vehicle functions such as manual texting, Web browsing and video phoning while driving. Automakers should do more to keep drivers' eyes on the road and hands on the wheel, U.S. auto regulators said as they released the latest guidelines meant to cut down on crashes caused by the use of electronic devices in cars.
