Up for purchase is a multi-purpose tool used to install the drive pinion rear bearing race, the differential side bearings, and the front drive pinion bearing in numerous vehicles including '97-current Corvettes. #J-42170 has a couple different levels... from top to bottom (as shown in picture #1) has a 2-5/16" inside diameter and is 1-1/2" in diameter at the open portion; measures 2-3/4" in diameter and approx. 1/4" in depth at the first "step" so to say; is 3-3/8" in diameter and slightly over 3/4" in depth on the send level; and on the opposite side (pic #2) it measures 3-1/4" in diameter and 5/8" in depth, then steps out to 3-3/4" in diameter and 5/8" in depth. Is made of heavy tool metal to be used with a hydraulic press if need be. Retails for $120.94 thru Kent Moore... adn the only other one on ebay is asking $50.99 + $10.29 shipping.
