Kawasaki 440 Arctic Cat Snowmobile Engine, TIB440SIA, 436cc Puma Cheetah Panther

Product Details:

  • Kawasaki 440 Arctic Cat Snowmobile Engine, TIB440SIA, 436cc
  • Research indicates this is an early to mid-1970's engine, I think used in the Puma, Cheetah, and Panther.
  • Numbers variously found marked on the engine: 213P4Z, 203Q, 400/2A
  • The clutch is a Comet Duster by Comet Industries.
  • This engine is electric start (I think I see a starter on the side - see the pictures)
  • Includes the belt shown.
  • We purchased this engine a few years ago and put it into storage in our warehouse awaiting sale on eBay (which tells you how much of a backlog we have).  The seller told us at the time that it is a good working engine.  It turns over and has good compression at this time.  I didn't do more testing, but I think it will need some level of servicing or maintenance before it will be in running condition, and it is sold as found.  It has oxidation and grime and dust on it that will need to be cleaned to make it look its best.  Please see the pictures to see what parts are on this engine and to see if any parts are missing.

As asset liquidators, we are not considered experts in this product and we are selling it as found.  However, if you are unsatisfied with your purchase, we offer a money back guarantee...

Money Back Guarantee:

  • If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your purchase, we offer a money back guarantee.  This can be a full or partial refund (depending on the severity of the problem).  In many cases you may not even need to return it.
  • For fastest service, simply contact us, or call us at 802-885-6464.  Our hours are 1-6 PM EST Monday-Friday.  If we miss your call, please leave a message.  We WILL call you back.

Package Details:

  • Unpacked weight & size: 90, 21x20x15
  • Packed weight & size: 110, 25x24x19
  • Package Notes & Ref: OS2 (59#), 6J181, 106.76 SB

Terms & Conditions:

  • Local Pick-up is free, but we must charge 6% Vermont Sales Tax (email for details).  Our Standard Shipping method is our choice of USPS, FedEx or Motor Freight.
  • Our liability for product defects is limited to the purchase price plus shipping.  We are not responsible for the installation, training in the use of, or operation of any item we sell.  The buyer assumes all responsibility for safely handling, inspecting and verifying the operational quality of their purchases prior to putting them into service.  The buyer expressly releases the seller from any liability arising from the installation or operation of the product.
  • We welcome international trade.  Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges.  These charges are the buyer's responsibility.  Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying.  These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company, or when you pick the item up - do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.  We do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as 'gifts' - US and International government regulations prohibit such behavior.  All international buyers are responsible for any additional shipping and handling charges, crating costs, and any other costs arising from cross-border trade with us.
  • Unfortunately, because we have very limited space, we cannot store your purchased items for you.  We can hold your item for two weeks from the purchase date, after which we have to charge storage, up to $10 per day, depending on the situation.  Once storage fees exceed any moneys paid, we will have to relist the item without refund.

Top Gear’s Jeremy Clarkson & Richard Hammond BANNED from driving

Sat, 16 Nov 2013

Top Gear’s Jeremy Clarkson & Richard Hammond (pictured) BANNED from driving in France It’s an astonishing claim from a man with a lead right foot, but Jeremy Clarkson claims to have never been nicked for speeding. But that claim is something Jeremy will have to qualify by location in future after the French ‘Rozzers’ nicked both Clarkson and Richard Hammond on a Top Gear drive in France last month. How we all managed to miss this little snippet of news when Jeremy revealed it in his column in The Sun last month, we don’t know.

Nissan Qazana (2010) caught testing

Mon, 14 Dec 2009

The Nissan Qazana shot testing - complete with what looks like bin-bag disguise I know, it’s not the easiest thing to work out from the picture above, but this is Nissan’s sub Qashqai Crossover – the Nissan Qazana – caught out testing recently. Which goes to show that the Qazana is well on track for amid 2010 launch and production at Nissan’s Sunderland plant. The Qazana – when it debuted at Geneva this year – was a daring concept, to say the least.
